HI nice to meet you...Jeannine
Thank you for visiting my profile! Merry Christmas! And for such compliment!
If you would like to we should be pen pals? I am going to be studying English in Ireland in 2010.

I'm so sorry and I know it doesn't make it easier. Only time can do that. It will happen, I promise. It's different for everyone, but most of the people I've talked to and from my own experience it really takes about two years before you feel like you can really handle it and go on. Give yourself the time to grieve. It's very important for you, no matter what any says about letting go and moving on. You move on at your own pace. You'll know when you're ready.
I'll keep you in my prayers.

I'm new to this site and was scanning the people when I saw yours.
I'd like to express my deepest symphathy for your loss. I lost my father almost two years ago now while I was in the middle of some serious health issues. I didn't have a chance to grieve the way most people do so it's just recently hitting me pretty hard. I haven't even gone back to the gravesite since the funeral. I'm not quite ready to face it yet.
I've lost several friends to cancer over the past 15 - 20 years and I lost a son 25 years ago. It's still as though it was yesterday.
You eventually learn to deal with it and move on, but don't ever expect to forget or the feeling to leave you. At least if the person was close to you.
If you need to talk, I would be more than willing to listen. Everyone needs a shoulder and I'm told I have a pretty soft one.
