I tried to learn Russian ~2 years ago. My peak vocab size was ~70 maybe? It was during Christmas I was alone in US trying to find activities that I can do at home... But now, I forgot most of them! The frustrating part came when I realized there is often two different ways to say the same word depending on the situation.

I don't own TV and I like reading too. ugh, but I read mostly non-fictions.
