learning hebrew must be hard
"Better" American LOL
so see you
I read too "The mother" from Gorki (its childish made me smile, was like reading a teenager homework, but i was curious)
I read "leaves of grass" from Whitman, and I found it lacking of "punch", great ideas but it was less mind impact maker that french poetry of the age, but after all, it was worth reading.
I also read a bunch press articles from Larra (spanish romantic writer) and it was curious to find out how bad journalists do write today (!)
I read too Sommerset Maugham's "Razor's Edge" and liked it but it was not so perfect as his other masterpiece "Of human bondage" (or at least I felt more identified with this last one)
but mainly I read philosophy essays most ofthe time because I'm tired of other's neurosis and thinking is more challenging (and easy) that get into another's one mind.
What are you reading that is not updated in your profile?
By the way, I didnt like Hamsun (and I read Selma Lagerloff too). I find the language artificial and forced (the translation perhaps? tough the book was from a main editor here)
Good luck
Could it be?
Just drop by to say that I love Hebrew and Estonian languages too :D
Hope you will manage to study these two!
