Hi, interessant Lady , ciao from Italy, Silvan
I teach English. I am glad to help you in learning Russian. I am happily married.
Greetings from the north of Germany very near the Baltic Sea.
I live at the country side and love to be outside when ever possible.
I am nearly addicted to your lovely language and would like to find out if we have something in common to chat about. I am a joiner and love architecture and arts.
Have a nice day.
P.S I spent fourteen days in South Wales two years ago and loved being there so much. Where here is very similar most of the time ;)

Eleanor Roosevelt ?
I thought it was Carla from Coronation Street.
Did they have tea bags in the early/mid 20th century?

It didn't work for Walter Mitty either!
I'll try singing, "Ground Control to Major Tom", next!

Now I’m not saying that Eleanor Roosevelt didn’t know a lot about tea bags and their relationship to the character of women when immersed in hot water, either metaphorically or literally, as I’m sure back in ER’s day boiling women alive was a legitimate way of determining a woman’s worth to a man, as is still the practice today in some Muslim countries. But what I will say, is that whilst women may be like arid dusty leaves until rehydrated by a crisis (or a compliment), women also have something else in common with a cup of tea, and that is women do like to make storms in teacups, in fact one could say that making a storm in a teacup is many women’s cup of tea. For example, when I used to make a brew for my ex I always asked her, “How many storms do you want in your tea darling?” as women’s appetite for storms in a teacup varies from moment to moment, depending on how they feel. And if a man could predict how stormy a woman would feel at any one time, predicting the weather a year ahead would be a doddle in comparison.
Ive another one about tea bag Ha Ha
