Привет. Lena, ich freue mich dich kennenzulernen. Ich glaube you'll agree,
that reasons for learning of a foreign language… English, Russian, French, German, Icelandic… can be very different. For example, for me learning of German connected with self-development (curiously enough, for some reason I always wanted to be able to speak exactly in German) and our common history. But in this letter I would like to talk with you about high literature. Yes, exactly about literature primarily because having found on your page following words: «I like to read since I like to imagine the history in the head» - the first thought that came to my mind was a statement of the fact that Russian classical literature… works of Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, Lermontov, Pushkin, Gogol, Chekhov, Griboyedov,… especially in the language in which they were written, being permeated by deepest meaning and aesthetics, create incredibly lifelike and memorable images in imagination of a reader. In particular, therefore they are considered like masterpieces of world literature and philosophy and names of their creators, as I managed to check, are good known all over the world. Living in the city where many of these works were created and being good familiar with them as well as with works of classical German literature, Lena I would be glad to become your guide if you really want to open this new world during study of Russian language.
Have a nice day,
Andrey

Привет, Lena! Меня зовут Андрей. In the case if your interests relate with learning of the language of: the biggest country of our planet; the country with amazing culture, with the heroic, but often tragic history, which gave to the world plurality of the most prominent representatives of the culture and science, … then what do I suggest:
1. 1-3 classes per month on Skype (25 min.-2 hours) with a native speaker from culture capital of Russia. Audio comments with pronunciation of learnt words if I know that you have problems with its pronunciation. Joint reading + joint viewing of lectures, movies, historical series in both languages.
2. What I would like to expect: I wrote the letter not to make money from you! The purpose is practice of German.
