So often times I hear it said, how lonely one can feel, even when surrounded by a group of people; How you can live in a large city, and be lonely amongst thousands of people, and yet I ask you all this question: Am I jumping to conclusions when I say, "Doesn't the Internet now, just as it always has been, seem like such a familiar place?".
Being on the Internet is like going to a bar with that hope that you will meet that special someone, only problem is, everyone is preoccupied with what they are not looking for, rather than the loneliness they all have in common.
The Internet is more of a virtual model for a "One World Government", where computers bring people from all around the world together, and yet the problems still exist within this model, that has existed outside of this model, in so much that they can't even make it work for One Country, let alone the entire World. That's how I know a One World Government will not be a solution for the 99 Percent, but serve only the needs of the 1 Percent; And as far as the Internet is concerned, we'll continue coming to these places with the hope that the system will eventually work for us, as we lay in bed thinking to ourselves, within the deepest crevices of our minds, how worthless life has become, that a human can live their entire lives out, utterly lonely.
