Well, where I am now is kind of far from where I work and where I go to school, plus even though it's all utilities included and only about $500 per month, our landlady is too intrusive when it comes to our electricity and whether we have people over or not. She asks why people are here and doesn't want them spending the night. I mean, she's nice, but you can't really say, "all utilities included" and then say, "You used too much electricity, the bill has went up since you moved in, I'm charging you for it". Of course it went up! Did she expect us to use no electricity? I donno, too much of a headache lol. People will let you move in at any time of the month, so don't worry about that. But make sure you ask a lot of questions to ensure you don't move in to some place with an invasive landlord.

Oh, yeah, that's true. They are sticklers here for wanting people to be already on island. I can give you the name and number of a guy who has pretty good rates in Waikiki. Best rates we ever had. The hotels can be stupid crazy expensive, so be careful. I'm moving in Feb, so we might be competing for places :P
